Mamadou NDAO – Executive Director/ CEO
Mamadou Ndao has over 30 years of experience in the telecoms and networks
sector, working in various roles such as design and systems engineer, project
manager, IT director, and operations manager. He started at British Telecom in
Paris and played a vital role in launching the Internet in Senegal with Telecom-Plus.
Mamadou then worked in New York for over 20 years as a network administrator
and CTO for ISPs and IT service integrators. Mr. Ndao has been the Director of
Operations at WAW Telecom since 2017, responsible for deploying 4G, FTTA, and
fiber head end sites, managing the NOC team and partnering with equipment
manufacturers like Ruckus, Cambium, and Tenda. His greatest achievement is
setting up the WAW POP at AIBD for B2B customers.
Mamadou holds a Master of Science and BS in Computer Science from CUNY
Staten Island University with Cum Laude honors and a higher technician diploma in
Telecommunications and Networks from the University of Paris XIII
He has been associated with ATCO International, Inc. as Executive Director / CEO since
2021, ATCO Inc., is a multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm with industrial
research, planning, coordination and environmental work with offices in Houston, Texas,
U.S.A, Senegal West Africa and Pakistan.
